KitlingArts
Official Commission Info Site

Hello there!!
The Artist
I'm KitlingArts, and I'm a self-taught artist!I have been doing art since I was able to hold a pencil and I always strive to learn new things to improve my skills. Ever since I was little, I always had a love for drawing fuzzy critters or mythological monsters. Which, inevitably, lead up to me being a furry/fantasy artist!I enjoy making all sorts of critters!
Monsters, anthros, ponies, mythical creatures, and more!
The FursonaTavi Quinn is my personal fursona. She is the representation of myself, as a person, in anthro form. As a kid, I adored the look of wild dogs and it only seemed right to have one as my personal fursona. You can learn about my fursona from her Toyhouse page!
As of May 1st, 2022, I have officially become an approved wickerbeast hybrid artist as well an as one of the site wide alphas for the species.
Check out the links above for either supporting me, checking commission queues, live streams, my characters on Toyhouse as well as my active art galleries!Official KitlingArts Discord is available by invite only.
You can contact me on FurAffinity for an invite!
All art on this site was made by me.

KitlingArts Commission Terms of Service
!!! These terms are subject to change at any time !!!By commissioning me, you have read and agreed to my terms of service.
By commissioning me you agree you are legally 18 years of age
Proof of age may be requested at time of contact for a commission if I suspect you are underaged. This is to ensure both mine and the commissioner’s safety. I cannot, in good judgment, take word of mouth that a commissioner is legally 18 years of age without proof.Special NoteI will NOT sell any of my work, commission or otherwise, as Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), traffic in cryptocurrency, or participate in any blockchain related activity. Under no circumstance will any of my work be used or sold in this manner.
My work is also never allowed to be used to feed AI prompts of any kind! This also applies to any and all clients. Commissioners found to be taking work made for them by me in such a manner will be permanently barred from commissioning me ever again.

Payment:+ All payments go currently through Venmo only and must be in USD. Payments are no longer taken through direct PayPal and I will no longer use PayPal again for personal and financial safety reasons.
CashApp is also an option, but Venmo is preferred due to /rumors/ of scams tied to cashapp.+ Upon accepting a commission, I will ask for the customer’s Venmo (or cashapp) tag/name and issue a request/invoice for the full amount agreed upon. The customer has 48-hours from the time I send out the request/invoice to pay the full amount. The exception to this is if we agreed upon an extension and have such in writing. Failure to pay the request/invoice within the 48-hours (or after the agreed upon extension) will result in the invoice, and commission, being canceled at my discretion.NOTE: I will make an attempt to contact the customer before canceling the commission. I am, under no circumstance, obligated to do so.+ Payment plans can be made. Please discuss with me beforehand. However, the full payment must be made before work can begin regardless of setting up a payment plan.
How to Commission me:
First and foremost! Familiarize yourself with my work and check my most recent submissions to get an idea of my skill and style before commissioning me. Also, be sure you understand the difference between a "Commission" and an "Art Request". I do NOT do art for free by request.
Check my FurAffinity or Discord for commission openings. Openings will be posted via my journals and discord notifications when slots are available. Slots are first come, first served. I will not hold slots for commissions if someone else has the funds to claim it ready.
Order Forms coming soon! Contact will be via my commission email for now. (An order form will be available at the time of openings and will need to be filled out to claim a slot.)
All communications regarding commissions will be conducted via my commission contact email once the order form has been received. Please make sure the email you put in for the commission form is the email you wish to be contacted by!
You must have a visual reference of the character you wish to have drawn. NO shaded, hand drawn, SecondLife, IMVU, video game, or other 3D references. Shades makes it hard for me to get correct colors. 3D refs are only allowed if you have a detailed color palette for what goes where. Please avoid heavy text descriptions. If you have to make a description, please be short and to the point.
Please make sure your reference is up-to-date. If I miss something that wasn’t mentioned or on your ref, I am not responsible for the mistake. It is the responsibility of the commissioner to provide me with all the necessary information to complete the commission.
Once all information is provided for what you want for your commission, if I choose to accept it, I will give you the price for the work. If an agreement is made, I will ask for the Venmo (or Cashapp) tag/name and provide an request/invoice or ask for payment to be sent if I cannot send a request/invoice. As per above, the commissioner will have 48-hours to make the payment (unless an extension is discussed beforehand).
If a commission is intended to be a gift, please make sure you give me that information up front. Commissions are completed in the order they are received with a "first come, first served" basis. So, if the commission is intended to be a gift, such as for a birthday, I will need ample time to complete the artwork. I work on a max time frame of a two month turn-around. Any less than this (ie a time crunch), I will turn down the commission.
Scheduling and Process:
The expected maximum completion time frame/turn around for commissions is set to TWO MONTHS after full payment has been made. This timeframe is set to accommodate any and all potential RL things on my side (Plus the possibility of a full-time job). However, this can also be slowed down due to response times from the commissioner during each phase of the commission. As such, prompt responses are advised to ensure your work is completed in a timely manner.
Commissions are prioritized to other art, though sometimes I will be in need of short breaks and will draw some other things (personal) art between commissions. This is both to give myself some time off, but also to improve myself! Please don’t panic when you see me posting freebies/personal/gifts. These are to keep my artistic flow going and to keep things fun for me, so I can give it my all when it comes to your commissioned piece!
Apart from drawing, I work a full-time job. Art will slow down slightly, but will never be pushed aside completely. (Contact is mandatory, and I will not fail to keep you up to date with the state of your commission when there is an update to give. You are always free to ask for an update!)
Please keep in mind that asking “is it done yet?” is different from asking for an update. Your commission will rarely take longer than a month to complete and I will do my best to accommodate when being asked about updates. Rushing me and your work will only put a lot of stress on me and cause the work to be less than adequate. On top of that, it may also result in me refusing to work with you again in the future.
During each phase of your commission, you will receive a WIP (Work in progress). A WIP will be provided during the sketch phase, line phase, and flat color phase. If you did not opt for shading for your commission, you will still receive a cropped flat color WIP that will show major parts to ensure everything is correct.
You can also check my Trello to see the status of your commission!
Fixes and Changes:
Major changes (such as pose(s), adjustments to character(s), ect..) can only be done during the sketch phase.
Smaller changes (expressions, line placement, ect…) can only be done during the line phase.
Color changes can only be done during the flat color phase.
After each WIP has been received and changes made, if needed, no other changes can be made without a fee being charged. This is why WIPs are provided during each phase to make sure nothing is missed. Please make sure that you go over everything to make sure it is how you want it to be.
Regarding Refunds:“You took too long on my commission, I want a refund.”
As mentioned above, I require at least TWO MONTHS before you ask for one. I am transparent with my commissioners. If something is wrong or going on I will tell you about any delays asap!
If no work has been done, you will receive the full amount I was paid. If partial work has been done, you will receive a partial refund based on the amount of work done. Please Note: If you harass me about commissions, whether you feel I am taking too long, or I do not want to draw what you are asking, or cannot draw what you are asking...I reserve the right to cancel the commission completely or refuse to take the commission entirely. If payment has already been made, you will receive 100% of your refund and will be barred from commissioning me again. If I find or feel I cannot complete a commission in the way you are wanting, I WILL ask if you would like something different or refuse the commission in the first place.“Something has come up and I need to request a refund.”
That’s fine, life happens to us all. If no work has been started, I will issue the refund of the amount received. If I’ve already started the work, a partial refund will be issued. If I’ve already completed the work, you will not receive a refund. If I’ve already completed your commission… why would you ask for a refund?
I will also request that you refrain from commissioning me again for, at minimum, the next 6 months. This is for my personal security as I will not know if you’re going to need money back suddenly.“My commission wasn’t done right and I want a refund.”
As I send WIPs out during each process of the commission, that is when you can tell me what is wrong so I can fix it. Waiting until the commission is completed to tell me only puts stress on us both. Not only do I have an unhappy customer with my work, but I will be looking to see what I missed in communication. If the piece is complete and it’s not what you specified, tell me and I will do my best to fix it. I cannot stress enough to go over each work in progress to make sure everything is how you want it to be before progress goes further. If you are still not satisfied with the work after the fixes, I will issue a refund based on how much has been done. I retain all rights to the art and the right to use the rejected work how I see fit. You will not be allowed to use/post/keep any rejected art that I have done for you if you get a refund. If you have posted or used the rejected art after refund was given, I will either ask for appropriate payment or go through the appropriate measures to have the art removed.HOWEVER.
If you see the art and approve it when it is done, no refund will be given since the work was completed and approved. As said above, if the work is completed and approved, why are you asking for a refund?
Other Rules:
All rights to the artwork will remain mine as the artist, including the right to upload on any form of social media and internet websites/apps. If the commission is a gift, the commissioner may request a delay on public showcasing.
The commissioner may ask me to use a highly watermarked version for promotion purposes on social media, to prevent character/art theft
If I, the artist, wish to sell merchandise, in any form, of the commissioned piece, the commissioner has the right to decline permission to do so.
All rights to the character retain that of their respective owner. This does not allow them the rights to the commissioned piece.
